In this session, participants will investigate how birds’ feet are uniquely adapted to help them survive in different environments through hands-on exploration of bird foot artifacts. Using their observations, they will make evidence-based predictions about each bird’s diet, habitat and behavior.

Participants will then apply their learning during a guided citizen science bird walk, identifying and recording local bird species while observing adaptations in the wild.
