August 1: Kids at the Mill

A KIDS event is coming up at the Water Mill Museum.  “Uncle Fred” -  Frederick Benedict, whose workshop is part of the museum, was a descendent of the family who owned the mill. He was a photographer, a game, puzzle, and weather-vane maker, a collector of odd objects, a roaster of popcorn, a checkers-player and a student of American History. Come experience Fred's workshop, recreate some of his games and puzzles, and get to know more about some of the people Fred admired, and about Fred himself. Happening
